
Ma Zongwei, Associate Professor at the School of the Environment, Nanjing University, Ph.D. He also serves as a member of the Committee on Environmental Planning of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, among other affiliations.
He has long been engaged in research on air pollution exposure and health impact assessment based on big data and machine learning, cascading risk analysis of natural disasters under climate change, and identification and regulation of multi-scale environmental risk drivers. He has led projects including the NSFC General Program, NSFC Young Scientist Fund, and Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Youth. He has published over 60 papers as first author or corresponding author in academic journals such as Environmental Science & Technology, Remote Sensing of Environment, and Environment International, three of which have been selected as ESI Highly Cited Papers. He holds 8 software copyrights and invention patents. He has received the Second Prize of Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award for Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements in Higher Education, and the Gold Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. He also serves as a member of the Committee on Environmental Planning and the Committee on Ecological and Environmental Artificial Intelligence of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences.
