Uncover the long-term feedback mechanisms among energy, climate, and economic systems; advance fundamental theoretical research in these areas; and propose strategies for energy transition and development. Identify short-term patterns of energy supply and demand during economic cycles; propose regulatory mechanisms to enhance the consistency of macroeconomic policies; assess issues of social equity and balanced development during the energy transition; and propose solutions. Develop synergistic mechanisms to ensure energy security and promote economic development based on the principles of cost, benefit, and risk.
