
Bao Yukun, male, Ph.D. in Management, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Management, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), and a Joint-Appointed Professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, HUST. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Modern Information Management Research Center at HUST, and Academic Backbone of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences in Hubei Province. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research work in the fields of Smart Energy and Business Management, Electricity Markets and Policy, and Information Systems and Data Governance.
Bao Yukun was selected into the Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researchers list (2020-2023), and has been consecutively selected into the World's Top 2% Scientists list (Artificial Intelligence / Business Management). He has successively presided over 5 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (including 1 Key Program), and more than ten scientific research and consulting projects commissioned by large central state-owned enterprises such as State Grid Corporation of China and China General Nuclear Power Group. He has published more than 100 academic papers in important domestic and international journals and conferences, of which more than 60 are indexed by SCI/SSCI. His research results have important academic influence in fields such as business forecasting and electricity market trading price forecasting.
