Main research areas are artificial intelligence-enabled smart grids and energy internet. Published over 40 papers as first/corresponding author in Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering (a subsidiary journal of Nature), Proceedings of the IEEE (founded 114 years ago), and IEEE Transactions and other journals. 11 papers were selected as Featured Articles/ESI Hot Papers/Highly Cited Papers. Published 4 academic monographs. Presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects including Excellent Young Scientists Fund, General Program, and Youth Program, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, and Hubei Provincial Key R&D Plan. Participated in influential research projects including NSFC Key Projects and the 973 Program. Serves as Editorial Board Member for 5 authoritative domestic and international journals including IEEE Transactions and IET. Co-Chair of the Session on AI-enabled Smart Grids and Energy Internet, Chinese Control and Decision Conference (CCDC). First Completer of the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize) and Tencent Outstanding Patent Project Award.
