A.Prof. Zhi-Yong Tian

Tian Zhiyong, from Luohe City, Henan Province, is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST); Ph.D. from Technical University of Denmark (DTU); Postdoctoral Fellow at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU); Hubei Provincial High-Level Overseas Talent; "Wuhan Talent" (Outstanding Young Talent); Review Expert for Youth Talents of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); Correspondence Review Expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC); Dissertation Review Expert of the Academic Degrees Center of the Ministry of Education; Expert in the Database of Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology; Expert of the "Science and Technology Innovation China" Hubei Provincial Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Science and Technology Service Group; Deputy Secretary-General of Wuhan Energy Society.

He has presided over and participated in more than 10 projects. As the Project Leader, he has presided over 1 Key Special Project of the National Key Research and Development Program (R&D) of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) titled "Governmental International Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation," 1 National-Level Foreign Expert Introduction Team Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and 3 projects commissioned by large central state-owned enterprises.

The research group is mainly engaged in research related to building energy conservation and solar energy utilization, green data centers, and seasonal thermal energy storage. He has published more than 20 SCI journal papers as the first author or corresponding author.

The research group has long-term academic contacts and cooperation with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the Spanish National Renewable Energy Centre (CENER), and the China Academy of Building Research (CABR). Outstanding graduate students can be recommended to the above institutions for exchange and cooperation.

He masters advanced European design methods for large-scale solar district energy stations and possesses practical engineering experience.
