Secretary of the Party Committee Tan Tieniu of Nanjing University and Vice-Chancellor Adam Tickell of the University of Birmingham jointly signed the Framework Cooperation Agreement on the Joint Teaching and Research Centre for Climate, Environment and Health between Nanjing University and the University of Birmingham. This initiative marks the formal entry into a substantive phase of cooperation between the two universities in the field of climate, environment and health. The jointly established “Nanjing University-University of Birmingham Joint Education and Research Centre for Climate, Environment and Health” will serve as a high-level platform for Sino-UK academic dialogue, promote the sharing of resources and talent cultivation in the climate field, and lay a solid foundation for both parties to jointly explore the relationship between climate change and human health, as well as to drive scientific and technological progress in related areas.
